Help us continue to strengthen
midwifery in NH
We are so thankful for everyone who contributed and supported the NH Midwives Association to meeting AND exceeding our goal of raising $5000 this year to maintain a legislative presence.
If you would like to make sure this continues to be something the NHMA can secure from year to year, please click the Donate button below.

Previous Successes with The Dupont Group

-
Midwife fees increased from approximately $1300 to $2435

NHMA Policy Goals for 2025

Ensure a seat at the table for NH midwives and birth centers in stakeholder coalitions to address the increasing maternity care deserts in large portions of NH
-
Explore consistent funding for birth centers
-
Follow up on success with increasing Medicaid rates and increase commercial insurer rates
-
Engage with state agencies, including the NH Insurance Department and DHHS around birth centers and malpractice premiums
